I wanna clear somethings up. 99-01 Cobras are not slow, and all of the 2002 Cobras were sent to Australia, not because they sucked. 99-01 Cobras run mid 13's stock. So all of the haters in here can shut there mouths about 99-01 Cobras sucking, cause they dont.

Well this IS an Fbody forum there, genius. And we don't hate, why should we hate an inferior product like a Stang trying to pass itself as a Man's Muscle car when 50% of buyers are chicks and 9 out of every 10 sold is a V6. Hell a Stock LS1 can do high 13's. So mid 13's is not impressive nor fast for a supercharged car unless it was a Hummer limo.

I love it when Cobras are referred to as "stock" and they seem to over look the power adder which makes ANY car faster.

I can't wait to see what the Full Of Random Defects guys say about our Gen 5 cars when they come out

^^^^yea only the 03/04 had a s/c....i just want to clear up that i like cobras and camaros and i wouldn't take one over the other

99 and 01 Cobra does not have supercharger 4.6L N/A=Mid 13 stock 5.7L N/A=High 13 stock

seems to me that the cobra is faster with way fewer cubes

9/10 are v6?? i dont know the statistics, but that is definitely wrong....ford dealership told me the GT was selling more than the V6

oh and dont get me wrong i LIKE the z28...but i know 2 FACTS
1)They are hard to work on
2)They are extinct

here are some problems with everything you said

1. your stats are rediculous and its obvious that you just made them up as you were typing
2. a stock LS1 does low to mid 13s stock and 12s have been seen, completly stock
3. already been covered but the mustangs in question dont have blowers
4. an 03/04 cobra is still stock even though it has a sc. rule of thumb: if it comes with it than its stock!!!!!

just trying to straighten your facts out since you dont seem to know a dam thing

^^^^ he speaks the thruth, I dont hate on Camaros, I just think Mustangs, especially 03/04 Cobras, make more sense and respond to mods alot better than the ls1. I'm sure some can (and will try to) prove me wrong. My one buddy has a 35th Anniversary SS with H/C/I and only put 420 to the wheels. Where my other friend has an 04 Cobra with a Cold Air, a pulley, exhaust, and Im pretty sure a mild tune and spanked the Camaro. Some of you need to be a little more open minded, I cant stand the ever going Camaro/Mustang battle, besides, at least the Mustang is still being built.......... Im gonna get heat for that one.
