Ok, best guess. What should I be running at the wheels with...
Rebuilt block - stock
Edelbrock heads and cam
Proform roller rockers 1.5
Computer tune - AZ TPI
Bolt on's....
Edelbrock long tube headers
3 inch exhaust with a Flowmaster
K&N cold air intake
Stock injectors
Stock A4
Not sure what the rear gears are. (Haven't looked cause I'm having 3.42 installed once the funds allow.)

it all depends on the spec#'s on the heads and cam, what kind of timing set, water pump, opti, what kind of rebuild set they used on the block, fuel pump, suspention..ect.

pro form roller rockers will work, but i would suggest NSA comp pro mags 1.6, and you'll at least want 28lb injectors.

with the stuff you have listed and assuming everything else was stock, and the eldebrock heads/cam are stock/mild hardware, i would say at least 315rwhp 320tq, with 1.6 RR's

edit: oh and dont waste your time with the 3.43 gears, get at least a 3.73, you'll be thankful in the long run.

im 100% serious, post your slips and i'll post mine, im A4 with 3.23s so you should have an advantage

EDIT: i can't get a picture or scan of my slip, but how about we pm the information on them to a 3rd party and he can post them? that way we wont know each others and can't make up a time just to beat the other. sound good? i'll even let you pick the person to pm

Cam specs
Lobe sep - 112
218 ext / 218 int
Duration 286/286

Yeah nice looking Camaro Zoilus! I want to swap the cam out and maybe get the heads polished and ported. The 1.6 rollers should not be to much of a problem. 315hp will not work! Anyone want to buy a used cam? Only 10,000  miles on it! Haha!!!!

i'd pull the lt1 and drop in a ls1or or 383 stroker... if you have the money cause either of those with a few bolt on acc., if built right can come a helluva lot closer to that cobras rear bumper then an lt1... but still without that sc u won't be catchin a 03-04 cobra

I wish I could go with the LS1 but my bank account just won't allow it. I was looking at Golen Engines and they offer a LT4 rated at 480hp but right now that's wishfull thinking. Getting hitched so all the funds are being directed at that. Fun huh? Thanks for the help guys!!!

Your only solution is to dump the chick and focus on the car. Seriously, no matter how bad the car gets....it will never compare to women problems!

and yeah , that cam is waaaaay to small. You will need to bump that up quick. And if funds are tight then your hobby might have to take a back seat for a bit. Especially if she is the "you can buy a $400 cam for your car, but can't spare $20 for a dozen roses" type.

What would you guys suggest? Yeah I'm kind of new to performance. The specs on the heads are...
combustion chamber 54cc
intake 170cc
exhaust 60cc
Ok ditch the cam and the woman (second one might be a little hard to do ha!) I can swap the cam and that's only about $200-$400 range and I can swing that. Run 1.6 rollers not a prob. Actually Zoilus the little woman bought me a set of Chevy valve covers and paid to have the block balanced as a gift. She's kind of a speed freak too. But once I tell her about this I'll see the eyes roll and hear "your never satisfied!"! hA! I love speed!!!!!!
