i was messing around with my trany dipstick, and i noticed it was movable and almost feels like i could yank it out if i tried...lol.. is this normal? thanx!

(Its a 96 3.8l)

Yes,Well it is on my car....You should be able to bolt it to the block of firewall to keep it in place. just make sure you have it seated first.

How much movement does it have?  U may want to check and make sure that it is in the trans all the way.
