The Ultra-Flo mufflers are not glasspacks. They are an actual muffler. they are supposed to be just like the Flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers. the bullets make the exhaust louder than the ovals and rounds. They are ment for Race cars. They muffle the sound just enough to pass as a muffled street car. i have the Ultra-Flo Ovals on my Monte Carlo SS and they sound pretty loud. I really liked the sound. I also had Dynomax Blackjack headers on it also.

I think the Race Bullet does use fiberglass as a sound deadner, but the design is different that an old school "glasspack" if you ever get the chance look inside a glasspack and you will see little ribs that stick out into the flow path, the Dynomax does not have these.

ok so it came in the mail. i looked inside it and it is pretty much a straight through, nothng in the way. i tried to pit a light to inside it, and looked at an angle to see what was used for silencing. it looked either like fiberglass or steel wool. whatever it is, i cant wait to throw it on and hear what it sounds like.

They are loud, its practically like having straight pipes, i have 2 of them on my car without cats and a built 350,people will hear you comming from pretty much anywhere you have a lightly modded motor.
