New here to the Forum.
I just picked up a 81 with the V6 and was wondering what kind of bolt on performance parts are available and are they worth the expense?

Welcome to the forums, get some pics up when you get a chance.  The is a bunch of knowledge to be had here.  The best thing to do to an engine is to help it breath, intake and exhaust.  A bunch of power can be released there.  Cold Air Intake and some headers would be the first thing I would do.

Sometimes there are some good deals in the back of performance magazines.  Car craft etc...  Also try auto zone or advance auto.

Check the sticky on the V6 section regarding upgrades to the 3.4. Most 3.4 mods will work with the 2.8.

it is a post that is penned to the top of the page in a section.  I think you can find it here http://www.camaroforums.com/m_55629/tm.htm.  this is for a 3800 V6.  I am not sure if all the info will help but it is a start.
