When you've got hook-ups on prices and the whole setup, from deck, speakers, subs, box, amps, cap, and wiring kits combined run you 1,000$, I dont consider it raped... I call it bargain shopping, and yes everything was new, and if you have some sort of problem with my not wanting to spend $6,000 on an MB Quartz component system, then shove it.  The stereo is loud, the stereo is clean, and you'd be surprised at how good it sounds with no intention of entering competitions.  So you can kiss my a**, because you're opinion doesnt exactly matter to me...opinions are like as**holes, everybody has one and they all stink...and it seems to me that you have plenty of them.

I would never spend $6k on any componenet speakers, let alone MB Quarts. Their performance died long ago when they were bought out by RF.

And if you didn't want anyones opinion, why did you start this thread? Seems like you just didn't want anyones negative opinion.

Rear speakers, yes no point, you should've spent that money on a better front stage.

Capacitor? Hope it looks cool, thats about all they are good for. Seeing its a 5 farad im guessing you spent around $250 on it... Could have just bought some led's for $10 and made some cool logo with plexi or something instead.

It takes a Cobra to keep up with an SS huh?

The whole system was bought for $1,000 flat, no tax, no nada...I posted it as a suggestion for the people on the forum interested in what sounds good without trying to win a competition...not for a smarta** reply from that fool, cobra, that thinks he knows it all.  I have other plans for the dash and door panels, so rear speakers work out just fine for me.

If the stereo sucks that bad, why would you want one? for even MORE then I paid? I dont have to explain myself to you, but I will anyways.  A good family friend owns and runs a stereo installation shop, hes known my family longer then ive been alive, I get deals on everything...I've had the same system put in my camaro and my eclipse.

To cut things short, you dont need to have an attitude with everyone you think you're better then...because you wont always be better then them.  If your stereo system sounds better then mine, you paid at least 2,500-3,000 more then I did...
so uh... "eat my shorts"

Sound is subjective, therefore, retard, I could consider my ipod's speakers to sound greater than your over-hyped stereo.

And like I said, pic of a receipt, or you're just another liar.

When im bored enough to scan a photo of my receipt, ill let you know, until then, call me a liar.  You arent worth the time of digging through the filing cabinet.  If I run across it, i'll do it, but im not going searching for it.  The day your cobra has something in it worth talking about, let me know...
