MY rims always get so dirty after i clean them. They are dirty within the nest 20 min becuse my brakes make so much brake dust. What is the problem? Is it just my pads or what. And Some one put window chalk on my tires at prom and now it will not come of. what will take it off?

Power washing the tires may help, otherwise armor all, and break cleaner possibly. As far as the dust on your rims, it is most definitely from your brakes. Most likely you have asbestos pads and the only thing that could help with that would be switching to ceramic pads. Nothing else you can really do though.

I agree it is the ceramic pads causing all that dust. I like Ray Bestos ceramic brake pads. For the wheels I just wash them normally and dry them with a micofiber cloth. Sometimes I wax them.

Sometimes I wax them. a microfiber cloth is really kind of a waste to use on a rim. a regular cotton cloth would actually work better anyway because it is a more absorbant material that you can put more force behind and not ruin it as far as the rims getting dirty goes, just give them a good coat of wax when you clean the car and they will stay cleaner and also clean up quicker

I had the same problem for a while but as soon as I changed my brakes over to full ceramic the dust vertually stopped. Amazing the difference it really makes. I have weld racing rims mag aluminum and the greatest rim cleaner of all time is def mothers metal polish. It makes my aluminum so shiny I could eat off them. I give mother mad props on their wheel polish.
