They have turbos so we have nitrous. It's that simple.

If they don't have nitrous, their fault.

Yeah there are way more "chemicals" used other that nitrous... for example, different fuel additives for FI cars, top fuel cars, etc.

If it works with a internal combustion engine, I don't see any form of power adder as cheating. They all do their job and in a different way. It doesn't matter how it is done.

i understand where ur coming from, but do u really buy that?    i could pick out any 1 of a dozen differences between my car and the next and call it cheating just because its not the way mine works.   vtec - cheating, changes way engine is working based on rpm.   automatic transmission - cheating, changes way power is delivered to the wheels and makes shifts for the driver.  Saying that nitrous is cheating is completely arbitrary.  Its as ignorant as racism.  Im not calling u out, just for anyone who reads this and finds themselves saying "yeah, chemicals and whatnot!" needs to really think this through.  this stuff have been dramatacized by hollywood with vertigo effects and blue flames from the exhaust, we even had someone a few pages ago talk about how its not fair to hit the button at the end of the race to pull out the win .  what about methanol injection for SC cars?  Kerosene for diesels?  kerosene is just a separate component of crude oil, comes from the same place as gasoline.  spraying this doesnt change anything chemically over any other combustible, same process takes place as when diesel is ignited.  to go a little further, alot of delivery trucks run on kerosene, or at least used to, its a regular fuel.   but it has the same effect as nitrous for diesels.  Is racing fuel cheating?  without it those turbo guys cant run near as much boost as they do, and its due to the chemicals in the fuel.

I say all of this to drive home the point that if its ok to call nitrous cheating its ok to judge someone based on skin color, because its just as arbitrary and ignorant.  yeah its different, but does that make it wrong?

i fully agree, nitrous, along with any other power adder, is NOT a cheater way to win. HOWEVER, if your asked to describe your car for whatever reason and you leave out the fact that you have a power adder ( lets just say you were told to list any and all mods to the car) then thats cheating. But just a straight up race, theres no way its cheating.

Now all of that probably could have been worded differently, but i dont have a degree in grammar and it gets my point across.
