When the hell did Specter become a mod. Damn have i been gone so long, has the world finaly ended. . Ok nitrous is not cheating in any way shape or form. Its been around for longer then any of us and is a part of the NHRA world. It is safe when used right with proper tuning and can be a great power adder. Almost 80% of you know what your talking about the other 20% need to do some reading and learn about this and its history first.

By the way spec, I dont think there is a better man for the job . GOOD LUCK.

it would appear that 77% know what were doing and 22 percent need to learn a thing or 2 i guess that means 1% unknown

Ya, the **** has really hit the fan now that Spec has become a mod

I tried to fix the 1% unknown, but apparently 1 vote won't change it.

And no way Nitrous is cheating, it's just another power adder, but you can add at will, which is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Nitrous is not cheating, as said about a million times in this thread it's just like any other power adder. For you guys who argue "well your car is slow N/A if you use nitrous" I call BS, my car runs well into the 11's on motor, not exactly slow, and that is with nitrous plugs and a very rich tune. I have yet to hit the nitrous on my car but when I do I exspect it be in the 10's.  OK so now that that is all said, anyone who thinks nitrous is cheating is just an ignorant old fart, who most likley has a slow car. Crying about nitrous is the only way these guys can make themselves feel better about how much of a turd thier car is.

well it seems most people who get nitrous have hondas and just get it installed to get quick hp and dont build their car up to hold it, but nitrous is a good way to improve your 60' time

Yea maybe in Canada, here in Chicago there are tons of very fast street cars (mostly domestics) and many of them run spray. True you get a lot of younger kids with little money on both sides that use nitrous because it's cheap, can you blame them? It costs a lot of money to make a car fast, nobody wants a slow car.

i still cant get over spectar "ya chemicals and whatnot!!" that was hilarious..... anyway, the reason as ive stated before and i think spectar was trying to get at with his rasicium comments, is the nitrous is seen as cheating just becuse its differant not better or worse (well maybe better) just differant.
