actually the internals will handle a 200 shot just fine and that is the far upper bounds of the fuel system, but its still doable stock.  I will be running the 150 shot to be "safe"

1) if you are racing in something that really matters (like money for instance) and you dont take a good look under your opponents hood then its all your fault
a)nitrous is easy to partially conceal, but if you know what you are looking for its easy to spot
b)hiding nitrous is the same thing as lying about boost levels, or cam specs.  both can be faked to make your car seem slower.  The kids around my area tried hussling me in a race a few weeks back.  they talked amongst themselves "man, too bad we ran out of race fuel, we're going to have to go get the pump gas fuel for this car tonight"  as they clearly put c16 into the tank.  the kid was running a car that had been sold on the LOCAL forum with all its specs listed and tried telling me it ran a 13.8 (which it did, but its because he couldnt drive, the car is capable of low 12s).  they lie about boost, engine work, each and every one of them is running just a stock dsm with a bov.  so dont act like nitrous is the only avenue for cheating.  turbo's are worse for that IMO.

you can do the same thing with NA cars.  there was an episode of pinks where the guys came in with an old monte carlo that was probably good for 10s just motor and had a big shot to back it up.  they never once had to use the nitrous, but they bluffed their way to the win.   seriously, give me 1 good reason why nitrous is any different than the other power adders

SO TRUE, There was a SRT-4 at the track telling me his car only had a intake and cat back and said he was running stock boost, The car had mopar stage 2 with toys, 3" down pipe with cut out. Its not easy to see things like that unless you know the car who knows how much boost he was running. But in the end the neon still lost and all was right in the world.

and riceeater, what motor are you talking about?  a 75 shot isnt very big.  a stock ls1 will hold 150 easily.

I was refering to other small blocks, the ls motors are damn strong bottom ends, they wouldnt have the issues an lt or gen 2 small block would have.

its limitations are, not a constant power adder, the fuel system and internals need improvment over stock for anything over a 75 shot, and thats it, compared to other power adders, its the easiest to install, but not the absolute best. its greatest asset is the fact that you can add 150 hp for 300 bucks, its cheap and thats good for guys on a budget

how is it not constant? a turbo has to spool so does that mean its not constant?

i run an untuned 75 shot right now and could easily double it with the stock fuel setup.

its the easiest to install? thats a benefit not a limitation...

i do believe its the best power adder.

and bang for the buck is another benefit.

and specter, i've brought up the calling it "nos" issue before and got bitched at. they don't understand it makes them sound like ricers

Its not constant because it at least depends a little on temp and bottle pressure, as for the rest I said "Thats it" meaning thats the only limitations, not the max shot you can use, sorry if that was confusing, but other than consistency, the rest were positives, price, ease of instillation, etc. the best power adder is a huge cam, some cubic inches, and high compression, but if you dont feel like spending huge amounts of money, nitrous is best. A guy I work with has a mustang that runs consistent 8.20s at the track, he does not spray to get that, its just a damn good motor. thats the best way t o build power, but if you do not have the knowledge, time, or money to build a huge motor, then spraying is best. it is also best on a street car because you can drive it no problems, then hit it for instant horsepower

okay i use nos cus its the most common brand and whats its often refered too however if we must be nit pickers then its "spray"

what not now with "gas" (wouldnt want nickdotcom to boohoo about brand names)

you dont hit the button it dosent spray

discribe it is that barry bonds is breaking hank arrons record for home runs but hank did it with no roids whos the better hitter in your book?

why do you have to use a term like "spray" or "NAWWZ"? just call it was it is. im not the only one that thinks you sound retarded when you say this so im not sure why you single me out as crying about it. especially since i wasn't even the one to bring it up.

talking about buttons is another great way of showing your lack of knowledge. I don't press any buttons to spray, and im willing to bet that specter doesn't either.

this last analogy doesn't make sense, this is an example of cheating but is in no way conected to nitrous. If your saying nitrous is like steriods because it forces more air into the engine then guess what? S/Cs and Turbos are just like steroids too.

nope, no buttons.

i have a master arm switch which activates the MSD rpm window switch.  I have a secondary switch that goes between the window switch and the relay which also attaches to the WOT switch.  this is because the window switch takes about 7 sec to turn on and actually perform its function.  On the other side of the relay is the fpss. I have a schematic here that i made to help me with the install.

im having problems loading it so it may be a sec
