I give Mustangs their respect. Only the V8's though.. i hate the v6's. And.. yeah, you did give me one that was faster that wasnt S/C.. but, there's a $35k difference.. Im wondering how the Cobra compares to the Berger SS though.. Either way, i respect the Mustang. Appearance-wise though, i think i like the Mach 1 the best.. Or the cobras.. I kinda don't like the R's that much, but they are fast..

Well it looks like spector caught me in my tracks. Yes I do drive a fox. 79 Mustang 2.3L with about 85hp and.... its slow

Someone said that a stang as to be s/c to beat a camaro, not true. I have a friend with a 94 GT Mustang with a 5.0 high-output motor with a MAC cai, ECU Venom racing chip, 24lb injectors, a big cam, dual 40 series flows h-pipe, headers, and alot ov other little bolt-ons and he recently raced a 02 LS1 Firebird and wooped him by about 6lengths.

I was bored so I thought I would swing in here and see what the chevys like to talk about. I do have mad respect for a 350 though

Sorry for invading you guys and I saw that all the topics in this section were dull so I thought I would bring up a little ford vs. chevy b/s to talk about.

Lol, There are V6s out there that would drive circles around you. Besides the 3.8L was alot stronger than the 4.6 or 5.0 to a point.

I like being a chevy guy....and i am a member of mustang forums as well...but didn't go to try to pick on them....I just don't see why a 4 banger would come here and try to stur some stuff.......at least bring some ammo..hell with your car you don't even know what it's like to be a ford guy...

HAHA good one. Yeah, we dont get guys coming from camaro forums ragging on us.. usually just guys from the GT section fight the V6ers and the special models fight the GTs.... I dont know why some of these guys have to be so immature on an internet forum...

its funny at night under fire at the local drag strip, like have way through it the get on the mic and ask how many ford guys, how many chevy guys....... i cant believe how the chevy guys over roar them ford guys. i always felt fords were junk. 4 friends own mustangs and 3 are broke right now. swear to ****....

I didnt mean they HAD to be S/C, but I wasnt sure of any that weren't S/C that beat LS1's. And I was talking about stock.. Modded mustangs is a whole new story..
Even though it may not seem like it, I like a lot of mustangs. Mostly the 99-04 body's.. To be honest i think they really did a good job with that body style.. I like it, and I've seen some that were lowered a little that looked really good.. My opinion on stock V6's still stands until I see or drive one that was faster than the one i drove.. Maybe the one i drove was just slow, i dont know. I do know the 05+ V6s are quite a bit faster than the 99-04's, but im not sure how much faster.. Enough to beat me, im sure.
