What kind of H.P. do you want to achive?
What kind of compression are you going to build the motor to N/A?
What Kind of racing are you going to be doing?
What kind of powerband do you want?

On a carburated car i would not suggest turbocharging.

Yeah! The problem with supercharging a carbureted/throttle-bodied engine is that you have to get the air-charge UNDER the fuel-source, since it's nearly impossible to seal it to the top of it!
Better decide what all you intend to change (like, I'd dump the 'lazy' 307- quick!) before you start trying to decide on a forced-induction method!

the lazy 307 runs low 14s, I wanna get into the 12s an I have a 350 block I am doin this on as for compression, I have not rebuilt the motor, so obviosly low compression for forced induction, around 10.5:1 otherwise. Also, my uncle has been building motors for years an has built 3 turboed carb motors, I would get his help in that situation.

i was under the impression that the engine was already built, my mistake.

nitrous 100%

by far the best bang for the buck

if you plan on force inducting it, DO NOT go 10.5:1 compression, you will either destroy the engine, or if your are running really low boost, you will have horrible fuel ping. try for around 8.5:1. 10.5:1 compression is barely able to run on premium pump gas. not suitable for boost. unless you plan on running say, nitro fuel or something ridiculous like that lol

obviously i would keep compression low if i blow, around 8:1 or 7.5
