i have a 96 camaro and  i am wanting to put 2 12s in my camaro but im need some help and info on build a damn good custom fiberglass box does anyone have any pics and how to steps and plans they would like to share with me or links it would help thanks so much

hey. the wooden carpet boxes will sound the best. dont waist ur time.

i am doing the same thing only in a 89. im taking pics of my fiberglass box as im working on it and i will post when i get it complete

i agree with bluovlh8er, go with carpet man, fiberglass is cool looking and all but you really don't gain anything from it. All your going to do is make your subs sound worse because your going to have to figure in the dimensions and all for the curve or whatever shape your doing fiberglass.....stick with wood and carpet

its pretty simple to figure out how much space is inside your box. all you have to do is fill it with water and measure how much you take out.

well thats not going to do you very much good because you need to know the demensions before you build the box so that the speaker will have the proper amount of air space so still a waste of time for fiberglass

take it from someone who went through the same.exact.thing.  DONT do the fiberglass. my first system had a fiberglass box. i upgraded and built my wood and carpet box and daaang..it sounds soooo much better. and its not a hassle to build if youre wanting to build it urself.

a sealed carpet box is best for a camaro with the flextion from the glass who needs ported (i wish i still get it) i have a homemade one that is not at all pretty but for my subs its the only thing tha would fit
