the rear mount turbo systems are, IMO the lazy mans turbo. turbo kits are expensive and complicated for a reason. the more exhaust flow a turbo gets, the faster it will spool andthe more effiecient it is. the problem with a rear mount turbo, is that the exhaust loses velocity causing horrendous turbo lag. also the plumbing is very complex, coming from the back of the car to the front just seems redundant to me. but hey, if your happy with it, enjoy, heat wrap all your exhaust if you wish, it wont give you a noticeable power gain, and may trap moisture on the exhaust pipe causing corrosion and then leaks.

If rear mounted turbos were all that, the factories wouldn't go through all the trouble and expense to mount them as close to the engine as possible. They like to save money too.

ORIGINAL: camarokiller yup and its plenty of power to kill camaros Good luck trying to do that ricer!! You get some advise and then you say something stupid like that. Oh and by the way get a REAL car with REAL power not something you have to boost the crap out of it just to be able to say you beat a normally aspirated Camaro.
